Scott Pilgrim Book Jackets
Book Jacket redesign for the Scott Pilgrim series by Bryan Lee O'Malley. Throughout the story there are many classic video game references, so I communicated this with a retro color palette and pixelated type. As the story progresses, the main character defeats seven evil "X's." I showed this progression through my book jackets with the die cut showing the upcoming evil X, and the addition of blacked out X's as each is defeated.
